I AM Tim Loydell from Tim Loydell and the Deckchairs, I play 12-string guitar and as an interesting fact I am the direct descendant of 16th century French royalty. Loydell is actually pronounced La'Rouge.
People call me Tim Berry (it's worth looking that guy up). I like The guitar; our most most recent addition to the Deckchair family little Tex; and taking in the countryside from our red spaceship (Ford econovan) Luna Small. I wish I didn't like Cigarettes and booze.I want to Eat some breakfast. Oh, and change the world. But seriously, just watch us. My ideal tour would be with OKA, we love you guys. A slightly bigger spaceship, Tim Berry and Will Ferrell. My ultimate rider would be We are playing a show in Nimbin soon . . . I'll let you know how that goes. I am listening to Our bass player Aki rip it on a six-string guitar that once had twelve. In the CD player is the OKA's Half Lazy, Half Crazy. I am plugging Our upcoming tour. In September/October we are taking Luna Small on the road in support of the Australian Red Cross. Along with Sydney boys Ooh La La, we will tearing across the country raising awareness and some much needed funds for the cyclone relief effort in Burma. Our debut EP, Some Stranger's Ship, hits JB HiFi on September 15, and we play Newcastle's Bar on the Hill on September 17. Please get on board for this great cause and help make a difference.
